Sub-miniature Cameras are those that used films that are smaller then 35mm film. These cameras are small and easy to fit in a pocket, they are also often portrayed in movies as spy cameras, and yes some of them were. However, for the most part they were produced for ease of use and able to quickly fit in your pocket and join you in your adventures.
